    Assembly Issue

How to add part assembly points, such as where multiple gussets will go. Can I add points or what can I do make sure they go into the right places when each piece is a separate part?

You will assemble the individual "pieces" in the assembly file using Mates. You can get the part in the "rough" right position using rotate and move, but the fine position will come by mating adjoining surfaces, telling SW what surfaces are parallel to each other (or perpendicular, or at what angle) as well as offsets, etc. Once the mates are sufficiently defined SW will let you know. If you over-constrain it will let you know that too.

That's not exactly what I meant. If I want to add perpendicular members to an adjoining member and have no dimensions to reference. I want to say can I use points but that will not work any other suggestions?.
