I'm a few weeks ahead of you- ordered the standard 2448, and UPS is supposed to drop it off tomorrow. I've had the extrusions sitting in the shop for about a week, waiting for the rest of it.

that's what I got. I am now waiting on my electronics kit. Long hours ahead of me before I can bring this baby to life.
You will enjoy the build. This thing goes together very easily and nicely.

How is the progress? I just posted my build thread with the same pro4824 machine. Going well so far.

Congrats, great machine. What did you decide to do for the spindle?

I think the PRO machine from 5 years ago was very different from your new one.

    Re: PRO4824 on the way!

I've owned a Pro4824 for 2 1/2 years with a 2.2kW water cooled spindle. My only regret to this point is not buying the Pro4848 and I will likely buy the parts to upgrade at some point. 98% of my work can be done on my 4824. I'm quite positive that all of you waiting for you parts to arrive will be very happy when your assembly is complete!
