    Predator Save Directory Permissions.

    Hi All,

I know I have done/fixed this before, but can't remember how I did it. When I finish a program in Predator and want to save and hit "Save As" and enter the name, I can't save it to the desktop. It will give me an error saving that the directory is read only.

I save everything in BobCad and all of my other programs to the desktop, but Predator will not allow it. I prefer to save to the desktop and move to the folder I wish to store it in when I am finished.

How do I fix that please? New install on new computer running Windows Vista. Turning 66 on Saturday and I think it is catching up with me!

    Thanks in advance------Mike

    Yup,that is what I get.
You could just save to the target directory that Preditor wants you to.Then you can copy/paste to desktop,,,,or
You can change the security attributes. That, someone else will have to respond how/should you do this.

Yep, can save to any other folder or location, just not the desktop. But, that is what I want to do so still waiting to see how to change the settings.

    Thanks--Mike
