Even though I didn't read much of the info from this link, I do wonder/worry about this often. But what happens if I didn't realize something is protected. Some requests are obvious, but what if someone asks me to cut a design that I had no prior knowledge that it was protected? Do I have to research every job?

I am curious what others think... Thanks

i don't think it should matter, i was having some software issues when trying to import from this site but think i got it figured out. i went back and opened other dxfs on this site and works now. thanks

i wonder the same thing, i was told as long as your not selling the logo's for resale and its for your self there is nothing wrong with that. but like someone asking to you cut a design out i wonder how that works, your not selling the design and not making multiple of the same logo. you are charging for your time and metal on a custom project. i often wonder if a guy could get in trouble or not.

A photo of my friend.
I have converted it from: JPG (color) ---> JPG (B & W) by photo shop ---> DXF (clean curves) ---> G code (sheet cam) as illustrated in the attached files.
It consists of 2 layers, the rear is one black piece where the front consists of three white pieces, All made of 0.8 mm sheet metal and glued with the rear layer.
