I gave it a try. The bottom text is a bit different because it didn't trace well so I added it.

that is amazing. fast accurate, and something i can work with. I know nothing works flawless right out of the gate, but this is close enough where I can put less than an hour into the drawing and come up with something fantastic. Thanks for you help, can I ask, what software package are using for the conversion, and about how long did it take you? Are we talking minutes here, or or was it a solid hour??
And you are correct, the Golden Knights letters didn't do what you hoped it would in the cad conversion, but I can work with letters pretty easily.. Gotten good at that over time...

    Thanks Again!

    You're welcome.

I used BobArt in BobCAD to vectorize the image. The real time was in finding a much larger image than you provided. "Size matters."
Once I had the larger art, the whole process (trying multiple settings) was 5 minutes.

Brookreader... With a better/higher resolution photo, I can possibly, but I tried with the provided photo and results were poor without completely hand drawing the logo/font.

    Hi Everyone,
I am doing a project for my America Legion local 372 across the street from me. Trying to do a relief of the logo in artcam, center is OK, but I cannot get the edges to come out right. All I can find are images of the logo from the AL site.Attachment 361776
    Any help would be appreciated
Trying to redo something like this...

    Hi Everybody,

We are having an open day at the school I work at next week and I've been asked to come up with some sort of a give away item that can be handed out to potential parents and students. The machines I have to work with are a CNC plasma table and CNC Multicam router. The raw materials I have are (for the plasma) 27" x 15" Rectangular off cuts of 1/16 thick, galvinised sheet metal and for the router 15 " x 12" offcuts of white corian (Caesar stone).

In the past I have done novelty drink coasters out of the corian on the router and perhaps I'll do that again but I'm coming up short with ideas for the plasma cutter.....any thoughts?

    Richard.

    Richard,

Nice work, I took the liberty of optimizing your dxf to reduce the file size from 10 megabytes to 20K

Have you seen a Jalapeno popper grill tray with school logo?

    Jeff...

    Jeff...
    Hi Jeff,

Thanks for that! Please school me, how did you get the file size so much better? I tried saving in several different releases of autocad but couldn't get the file size down so had to zip it.

Thanks also for the Jalapeno popper grill tray idea. I must confess that I had no idea what that it was for and had to ask google! Jalapeno's are mostly only found here pre-cut in little bits and bottled. But I did find a nice recipe for cream cheese and bacon stuffed Jalapeno's that looked really good. It's a fairly unkown sort of delicacy here in Australia!

    Richard.
