    Is it possible to take part of an image and convert it to a dxf file or file compatible with autodesk to engrave on aluminum on a tormach

    Snail dxf, but it is a mess.
    You might be able to tidy it up but you will need a couple of hours.

    What software do you all recommend using to convert pdf's do dxf or dwg? I have two sketches I need converted.

    Inkscape is decent and you cant beat the cost, its open source.

    Would someone be able to convert this to a .prt file for use in solidworks for me? I realize it's not a flat image but if someone could just get the ball rolling for me so I can make some adjustments it would be much appreciated! Thanks!Click image for larger version.

    Here ya go. Traced at the image size so it will need scaling. The sketch is not fully defined so adjustments can me made.
