    Carbide blades for Biax scraper

I came across a great deal on a Biax powered scraper. It came with several carbide blade holders, but only one carbide blade. I would like to make my own out of a 1" wide 7" long bar of carbide. I have a diamond wheel and can grind it, but how do I cut the bar into 1" lengths?

    Thanks
