Question Need to get from SolidEdge V20 contour to toolpath G-code

    Hey guys
So I'm making some parts in Solid Edge V20, among other things a spool for a flyereel, and I need to get the contour from the 3D model to a usable G-code.
I'm using an Okuma LC-40 with an OSP5000L controller. I'm doing all the programing manualy, so I don't need the code from the stock piece to the finished part. Only the contour it self. And as the contour consist of both curves and arcs I can't do it all manual.

Anyone know of any basic software that I can use for this, and how to go about?
Can i use the .par files for this, or do I have to convert into something else?

    Thanks ahead guys

Re: Need to get from SolidEdge V20 contour to toolpath G-code

    Hello J,

My 2D drawings I save as a DXF file, and I then import it with DeskCNC. From there on I create/modify the toolpath for milling the part. I'm sure there must be lots of software around that can do this.
