    EMCO Compact 5 cnc help

    Hi
I just bought an Emco compact 5 lathe and need to buy some parts (tool holder for automatic 3 tools changer, 3 jaws chuck, complete collet holding system etc.)

Does somebody has some of them for sale ?

Could you recommend a place (US or, better Canada, I live in Montreal)

In order to check the file transfer, I need a standard, simple ASCII program in order to play with transfer from a PC. Could somebody send me one ?

I spent some time in Pratt & Whitney plant studying geometric tolerances for jigs and have ideas about universal jigs for small parts. Somebody would be interested in working some of them ?

Just wondering where you are on this project. Still need some help? I can get information on the machine but I don't want to take the time if your issues have already been addressed.

    Hi Bohdan2,
I use the old Windows 3.1 Terminal utility to transfer code to my C5 and F1 mill. Works fine.
    Best of Luck
