    IH Kit & Linear Scale

My IH kit is in transit! Installation onto a standard Enco RF45 purchased before IH starting importing machines. Oh well, I only have $1300 into mill delivered. Standard 1.5hp Lesson 3 phase invertor rated motor using a vectorless VFD.
System too be used as test bed for linear scale integration. Art has agreed too support for Mach 4 and starting to work on it in May! Should be an interesting project in closed loop CNC.
Initial testing and development will be using 0.001mm resolution sealed linear glass scales. Standard RF mounting set except for Z-axis column brackets.

While that is possible to do that there is a better method particularly for low end machines like most of us use. Linear scales data feeds too a parameter database. As conditions change during the machining process they are constantly adapted too.
These system have shown ability to substantially increase CNC accuracy!
