BobCad v23 G02/03 errors on Anilam Crusader M control

Many of the 3-D Programming toolpaths are generated using I+J values. BobCad v23 will show correct tool-pathing and will simulate what the path shows.

However, the Anilam Crusader M doesn't interpolate arcs accurately. I have tried different Post Processors, and different options - though, I'm still at a disconnect with getting what I see in the Path Verification to repeat on the mill: It appears as though the Machine control is reading the I + J numbers as if they don't accurately calculate - causing the arc to be inverse (possibly arc-tolerance?) If I use the conversational control to program ARC CW + ARC CCW, it will do so accurately - provided that I use values NOT calculated by BobCad (which was where I got the idea it may be an error with the Arc Fit Tolerance values not resulting in accurate position?).

I think this was the program:
    **
    N01 G00 G40 G52 G70 G80 G90
    N02 G29 T1001 X0.25
    N03 Z1. X-1. Y-1.
    N04 T0
    N05 T1
    N06 G90 X-0.25 Y-0.25
    N07 G01 Z-0.375 F5
    N08 X4.664 F10
    N09 Y0.5
    N10 X4.0562
    N11 G17 G03 X3.4438 Y0.5 I-0.3062 J-0.3125
    N12 G01 X3.3062
    N13 G03 X2.6938 Y0.5 I-0.3062 J-0.3125
    N14 G01 X2.5562
    N15 G03 X1.9438 Y0.5 I-0.3062 J-0.3125
    N16 G01 X1.8062
    N60 G29 E

Here's another example with pocketing (click for video):

Notice, the first G02 move, as it arcs CCW when the control is reading a CW move.

Block 222 in your post processor changes your arc format.

    xyr
    Inc ij
    Abs ij

The other option you 'll want to mess with is full half or quarterly arc moves. If your arcs are not cutting right it's in theses settings. Do you know how to edit your post processor?

    Thanks Al -

    221. Break arcs into quadrants? n
    222. Arc center a=absolute, b=incremental, d=unsigned inc., e=radius? b
    223. Break arcs into two pieces if greater than 180 degrees? n
    227. Output G40 after, rather than with, the last linear or arc move? y

    Another example of output:
    N89 G03 X-0.425 Y0.5562 I0.3 J-0.6325

    221. Break arcs into quadrants? n <<<<< Change this to a y
    222. Arc center a=absolute, b=incremental, d=unsigned inc., e=radius? b
    223. Break arcs into two pieces if greater than 180 degrees? n <<<<<<< change that to a y
    227. Output G40 after, rather than with, the last linear or arc move? y

Based on the video I really can't tell what is going on. Making these changes should post 2 lines of arc movements for your file.

If this is wrong maybe you are moves are ABS

Ok; got it worked out, thank you very much!

Although I had used the same download off of the BobCad support site, had made some changes to the v22 Post Processor and forgot to make those same changes when upgrading to v23 (how ever many years ago that was).

SO, it can FINALLY perform correct pocketing tool-paths when using G02/03, and full 3-axis profiling... I'll need a few pointers on those, but I'll do some reading first.

    Thanks again!
