    KTK Mentor Drive

Hi there, I'm new to the group but am reading with interest.. I have a problem where I have a KTK Mentor Drive (6M4Q7.5) on a EMI-MEC Microsprint 26 (I know its old, ;-)) and it is coming up with a '121 twice max current limit' fault. I have had the Maudsley DC motor stripped and cleaned and has been given a clean bill of health. The Drive has also been stripped and the Thyristors 'seem' to be OK, ( only checked with low voltage to see if they are switching/latching etc).

Would anyone know what else could be wrong with the drive, or would anyone have manuals or schematics for it. I would appreciate any help with this, as I would like this machine up and running again.

    Thanks..

Hi, Did you get this sorted..I have the same drive and motor. My Maudsley motor is noisy at higher rpm's even though it's hardly been run from new. I'm wondering if the bearings need replacing as the machine has been stood in a damp environment for a long time before i bought it. If you have any info that would be a big help.

    Thanks
