Control the process, not the product!
Machining is more science than art, master the science and the artistry will be evident.
RPM = 300
Servo motor & ball screw for collet open have been replaced.
voltages are 211v 24v 5v all good
Bar feed torque is set properly
it started happening once everyother day now every 20 mins
Any alarms?
Have you tried it with the spindle off?
You say that you replaced the motor and ball screw, was that because of this issue?

This sounds to me like you may be having a problem with the cable. The control itself issues a command and then waits for the component to respond to it saying that the task has been completed. If the controller issues the M7, but does not get a response from the servo, it does not know its open. I would try a couple of M7s with g4 between them, eg:
M7
G4U.5
M7
G4U.5
M7
I have made a habit out of doing this is all my programs. A little oil in the cable can cause a lot of head scratching.

We had something similar happen with one of our B12's. It turned out to be a dodgy encoder on the collet motor (these are the red capped things on the drive motors), we would have to re zero all the axis before we could start the machine again. It would work for about half a day then stop, just like your on collett open / close.
Once we changed it over all was ok and still running fine.
Thank you all fopr help it turned out to be a bad MACRO MEMMORY CASSETT HR415 replaced it reinstalled Sram and everything has been good since.
Thanks again
