I am grateful to everyone on the forum. As a complete novice in the CNC, I am almost the owner of the used cnc machine 2030 with the JP-382C control bord.

Good morning from New Zealand, my name is Alan Booth and I run a small company, actually it's so small it's a one-man band and I recently purchased an APW waterjet from China. I have no experience with waterjet, I have very little experience with CNC and it's all very exciting except for when the thing won't do what I. wanted to and of course then it's frustrating.
It's great to have a group that I can talk to and pick the brains of you more experienced people who no doubt have a good chuckle at times at the faux pas is you see before you.
However we've all been here at some stage in our life and I'm looking forward to the challenge, meeting new friends and creating great, marvellous and amazing inventions :-)

Hi, new here from South Carolina USA, I own a mining equipment manufacturer, www.spikesprospecting.com
have a you tube with a lot of videos of my machines. I built my first machine over 2 years ago, made a lot of changes along the way. I am almost finished with my new machine a 4 by 4 shuttle design, 40 gallon surge tank, 12 cfm vacuum pump, air lifted mold/platen system. 20000 total watts of heat, 4 elements @ 5000 each, with PID temperature control systems controlling it in 2 zones. See my stuff I make at my website.
Always looking for a new next big step!!

Cheers,

Hello,
I am interested in CNC machining and just got an ISEL ISM 300.
Hope to share with you soon all my projects
sorry I have no clue where to post this question:
hi all
I'm a long time retired machinist living in Belize
at the moment machinery is for teaching the younger generation here
and evaluate what could be produced on a smaller scale
Belize is a small country without any industry - only tourism
All kinds of parts for boats and smaller machines are always needed
Then later produce some useful souvenirs containing metal parts
I'm only familiar with west European high end machinery
and have been searching since a long time
as we are limited to Single-phase 220volt 60Hz current
A Rotary Phase-converters could be be a solution
unfortunately most Rotary Phase-converters very noisy and annoying
I have seen many videos about Chinese CNC VMC machines
all are bulky - very slow and can't do any deep cuts into stainless steel
they are more like engraving machines
after looking at many China mainland machinery options
as well as SYIL - Tormach - Ganesh and some known Taiwanese brands
my favorite so far is HAAS Mini and TM-1P
which I wanted to buy from here:
haasflorida.com/contact
but HAAS wants me to buy from Honduras
even thought
Belize is British not Spanish - part of the Caribbean CARICOM
and does not belong to MERCOSUR
do I really have to learn Spanish to buy a HAAS
this is HAAilariouS
Please advise where and what other machine to purchase ...
thanks

Hi this is Nap,
I am a cabinet maker and business operator of naffy.co.nz
I have a flat bed CNC router, and a basic edgebander to make European kitchen cabinets.
I am a black-powder pistol-smith in Fort Worth. I need to find some services. I'm looking for low cost laser engraving company that can engrave on gun barrels.
i am also needing to find how to get existing steel & brass parts made by machining &/or casting. how can I get a cad drawing of a modified part so I can send it out for quotes?
Thanx
