    Dynapath to mach3 conversion assistance

I have a 3 axis dynapath 10 control bridgeport I'd like to convert to Mach 3. I'm not too sure where to start. I need at least a breakout board and some servo controllers to drive the servos.

The Z axis servo is an MT-30R4-42 MT-30R4-42 by SEMCO - Buy or Repair at PLCCenter - PLCCenter.com I'm not sure what I need for a controller - The system is fed by a 72 volt transformer. Would a Gecko 320X run this?

Also open to suggestions for Breakout boards.

    Thanks,
    Brian

You need more than just a breakout board. You will need something else to close the feedback loop using servos.

I thought the G320X brought the encoder signal back to itself?

In other news... The Y servo is the same as the Z But the X Servo is a Baldor:

    cat#4203623
28IN/lbs (448 oz - does this mean a 500OZ step motor would have the same power?)
    Max speed 2500
    Max volts 150
    Current cont 9.2A
    Current peak 37A
    Tach 7 v/k rpm
