    RS232

    Pl. help. how can we transfer data from one machine to opposite same machine in fanuc 31i? there is a m-code available for that. but we cant use that. that code is m95. pl.explain

    What machine is this? I've never heard of an M-code for transferring data.

    I would think you could make a "crossover" cable like this, then get one machine ready to receive and then send from the other.

    DB25M <---------------------> DB25M

    1 <--------------------------- (no connection)
    2 <---------------------------> 3
    3 <---------------------------> 2
    7 <---------------------------> 7
    4 <> 5 jumped on each end.
    6 <> 8 <> 20 jumped on each end.

    Thanks for ur reply. that is fanuc 31i- A5 Tos-kurim horizontal floor type machining centre. At the middle longitudinal bed, and having machine in both sides. There is a mcode available in maintenance manual.
