PARITY ERROR ONLY WHEN SERVO DRIVES ARE ON

Hi, I have recently bought a hurco hawk 5m with ultimax3 control, i'm having problems with a parity error which only happens when the servo drives are switched on, When the power to the drives is off the program loads fully into the memory fine, But with the power on i get this parity error sometimes at the beginning of loading, sometimes in the middle of loading but it always stop at some point with this parity error. I have tried differtent setting for the baud rate, character length, stop bit, parity but still no difference. The setting that seem to work best are
    baud rate:9600
    stop bit:1
    character length:7
    protocal:xon/xoff software
    parity:even
    sorce/dest:memory
The software on the pc is hsm edit and the dnc setup has \17 as xon character and \19 as xoff character(not sure if this is correct). The cable I'm using is a null 9pin D type rs232. The reason I need the servo power on is to drip feed a large program. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Send the program to a disk file instead of memory and run it from there.
