Squaring the Gantry to the X-axis

    Hello

I have a CRP4848 up and running for a while now... I recently had to move the whole machine from one point to another in my shop. In the process, it seems that the gantry is slightly out of square with the X-axis. I was wondering if folks have any BKMs to share regarding how they squared up these two axes...

I use two homing switches on each x-axis that i can reposition to bring the gantry back in, but its not a very elegant procedure... more like trial and error.

Anyone have any procedures they'd like to share?

    Thanks
    Andy

Drill or mark 4 holes in the corners of the machine using your router and measure diagnol just like squaring a deck. Once you get it close that way then do the same thing in a smaller square like 3" so you can measure them with a caliper and fine tune it.
