RFQ - 29 part Brass or Aluminum

    Hi All,

I have a 29 part device specified as Solidworks files. The assembled device would be the M-94 cipher device used around the first World War. (See M-94 Cipher Device for a detailed look).

I'd like two quotes, one for brass, the other for an appropriate aluminum that can be handled by hand (and it's OK if you just quote one only).

Initial runs are likely to be small and I would reorder as needed.

I'm not a machinist, so I'll appologize in advance if I don't get the technical terms right.

pm/email me for the zip file. It's 22MB, so larger than the allowed size for this forum.

You do know those were die cast probably pot metal not aluminum.
    6061 would be to soft.
The engraving will require a 4 axis machine.
very expensive for a small number.

I figured they were casted, would there be a different group I should go to for making these?

not really just depends on what you want, the range is functional easy to distinguish, from original to near perfect copies.
different skill sets and equipment needed for the different products, and different price as well
