Milk Crate Dead, Long Live the PDB

Installed the Power Draw Bar yesterday. I no longer have to use the milk crate to reach the spindle for every tool change.
Four second TTS style tool changes and maybe ten seconds for R8.
The R8 capability is unique and particularly handy. Now I don't hesitate to use my larger R8 face mills.

If your thinking of buying a Torus Pro consider the PDB a necessity not an option. If you already own a Torus Pro save your pennies, its worth it.

One more reason I love my PDB.

Often in the pre PDB times I would schedule multiple facing tasks to occur one after the other, to minimize R8/QC(TTS style) tool changes.
Now as it takes only seconds, I face as part of the job. As a bonus this also eliminates the errors caused by multiple setup mount/dismounts.

Damned if I know how I managed without it!

Fine job, Ray. I can only imagine what I would to with an ATC.
