    printing

Newbie here. I am trying to print out my drawings. I have them set to print on 8.5 x 14 paper. When I hit print it shows the x y grid as well as my drawing about half the size of the paper. Is there a way to lose the grid and make it fill the paper? Thanks

Under [Preferences] ,Part Default, in the upper right corner, click off the [Show Axis XY] to turn the grid off. Sizing has never worked for me when printing straight from BobCAD. I usually end up hitting the Print Screen button on the keyboard, then pasting into MS Paint to do any cropping or re-sizing.

Thanks. That helped. As you said about printing, not very good. I have found if I take and print from free dwg viewer I can do pretty well also.

Here's a thread discussing print scaling to the paper size:

    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/bobcad...ter_issue.html

If you skip to the last page, you can find out how to do what you want. Read all 3 pages to understand the entire topic.

Please disregard the couple parts where I'm such a d*** to a pretty good guy.............
