Help with doosan puma 300 lb

New m/c arrived today and was installed only when we turned it on the turret wouldn't index throwing up alarm no. 2047 turret clamp switch or turret control unit alarm. What does this mean ? Could it be during transit as it worked four weeks ago

There is a white servo drive box in the electrical box, check to see if there is an error core displayed. If so check the book for the alarm meaning. The battery may have failed.

I think this was the alarm I got 4 days ago when I pressed cycle start before the turret had locked in place. I could not find it in any of the manuals, so I can't say for sure what it means. It just said to check the servo controller board. -> Good tip from ifixcnc. Tell me if you find the code in any of the manuals.

    Battery

You can buy an single A holder, and just splice the wire. Radio shack has everything you need. 3.6 lithium cell and the holder. I have done this many times, and next time you just pop in the replacement cell. You will have to put the parameters back in the drive. They are in the blue parameter book.

Thanks guys we located battery and should have it tomorrow hopefully then it should just be a case of restoring parameters. I think it's because m/c has been standing for so long
