    GE 388 Lamp

When I started in CNC I was running LeBlond Makino's with Fanuc 6M's. One of the weekly duties was to replace the GE 388 Mini-Lamps that had blown on the controls maybe one or two maybe zero would need replaced. My new job I am running a machine with a Fanuc 150i-M and the same 388 are used. Is there an alternative to the 388?

    Thanks,
    Larry

If you can find them in that base type, Multi-LED is the way to go now, you may have to confirm the polarity on the socket.
They make them in a few of the common bases.

It seems to me that I've seen that style of bulb somewhere with an LED intergrated into it. I don't remember the voltage, I think it may have been the local electronics surplus store. I'll keep a lookout for them.
If it's not nailed down, it's mine.

If I had something important to say it would be here.
