    Converting a chinese C02 laser ...

    Hi,

as mentionned in the title I'm converting my brand new (but second hand) chinese C02 laser to make it work with a TB6560 board.
I do that because the machine was sold (few €) without software.

I read carefully the posts on this forum, particulary this one

My first step will be to exchange the 2 boards.
As I read in the above link, I have to sold DB25/pin 4 to the TB6560 spindle relay and then to the "TH" input of the "power controler board" wich will send high voltage to the laser.
The problem is that my "power controler board" doesn't have an input labeled "TH", as shown on the picture herunder :

Can someone confirme that the input #3 (from old stepper board) is the mentionned "TH" input ?

BTW, I presume that the original stepper board is functionnal ... I just replace it because I can't afford topay 1.000 for the software.
If someone what to get a spare part ... just have to pay the shipping cost (from France).
    Here is a picture :

Thanks in advance for your advices ...
I'll continue to post on this thread, the next step will be to place X-Y limit switches. Hope I'll be fine.

PS : I know I'll need google to protect myself. They are so many on eBay and sw else. Any recommandation (cheap is better ... if really protective) ?

I can thoroughly recommend the replacement board from www.chriscircuits.com if you want to swap out the standard board. I've got some experience of the TB6560 as that's what's controlling my CNC mill, but happy with my choice of the chriscircuits one for the laser.

    Fred27,

I have contacted chirscircuit ... but no answer and their site mention they are running out of stock.
    So, I bought another card.

Any idea about my previous question regarding the "TH" input ?

    thks
