Here's our set-up:
Lathe: Haas ST-30 with live tooling and a bar feeder.
Mill: Haas VF-6 with a 4th axis rotary chuck
SurfCAM 6 - 2 Axis Advanced...which I am less than impressed with, but I'm a rookie with this stuff.

We will need to upgrade the SurfCAM to take advantage of the live tooling on the lathe and the 4th axis on the mill. So before we pay to upgrade SurfCAM we are looking into other, possibly better, options. For those of you who have experience with live tooling and/or 4th axis capable software; what do you recommend?

Oh...we also have Creo if there's anything good out there that will integrate with that. (I really wish we had SolidWorks, but that's a fight I won't win). I see PTC has a machining add-on for Creo; anyone have experience with that?

And just for some back ground; I am an experienced laser programmer who, due to staffing issues, is being pressed into duty as a mill and lathe programmer. So bear with me, this stuff is all new to me!
