I live in Houston and would love to have someone show me the ropes to build my first CNC. I'm a fairly advanced woodworker and this is the next step in my creativity when woodworking.

I'm looking to build a unit that isn't too big, possibly 2x4? I would like to build a 3 axis system.

I'd be willing to pay someone depending on the price, I'm not sure how much a service like this would go for. I would like to more or less email you everything I want to do and have you give me direction on what to buy, and be available to answer any questions I might have along the way.

I got pulled away from the CNC project, but I'm on it full-time now. I have a pretty good idea where you're located. I should be able to help you with graphics prep. What graphic programs are you running (include version)? post-processor?
