about aluminum , the one with the most corrosion resistant

and about tolerance , i dont know about that , i think it would be , 0.30mm , this molds are a prototype , depending how the part pulls out , ill be making adjustments , and ill require a new mold

    Okay,
Is it possible for you to make it on MDF and check?... Just for cost saving..post the 3d model so that values (dimensions) may be extracted..we do not know the draft angle and Z-depth...

i can send you the .igs file if you want

the thing with mdf is that the mold was created to pull the outer part of the original , MDF cant be used for composites because in the curing process , it will expand , and lets not forget that i have to put some tooling gelcoat to the mdf , so i have to make the mold like .5 - 1mm bigger , for the tooling gelcoat

sometimes the main part is made out of MDF and we do the mold out of it , but since we got now SW , we just do it digitally
