    Jerky Stepper Motor Fix

Hi, I've setup a few different machines (routers/grinders) using Mach3 with steppers and Gecko G540 drives, servos with CNC TekniX Drives with great success.
But recently I setup a grinding machine with C32 Breakout Board, 1200oz/in steppers and G201x drivers set to 6amps and a 48v power supply.

For the most part it seems to work but when jogging the motors jerk every so often, it's very similar to a servo motor having a very large positional error set, then losing position and catching up.
Any ideas why it might have this type of behaviour.
BTW does it matter if we use a switching power supply rather than a linear power supply?

    Here's the BB: CNC4PC
    Here's the motor: 1200 Oz-in Nema 34 Stepper Motor - $121.00 : AusXmods

Could it be from a PC delay? If the PC is running Windows it will delay the outgoing step pulses when Windows is busy, like internal interrupts etc. It's generally advised if you have to use Windows to shut down everything not essential.

Hi RomanLini, I set everything as per the Mach3 optimisation guide but no difference.
I noticed though if I set velocity to 4000 and acceleration to 120 its quite smooth, but any higher or lower it's pretty average (groans abit and is jerky).

The main thing that stood out was if I move one axes it sounds/looks great but if I move two axes they are quite noisy and seem a bit jerky.
It's strange because they are both on seperate power supplys.
    So very confused????????????
