Need advise on how to troubleshoot spindle error

Good day all. Recently I bought a CNC planar Fanuc control 18i. Axis all running but the spindle giving me problem. The screens shows "not ready". It's a Fanuc Spindle Amplifier Module A06B-6102-H226#H520. Can anyone tell me what initial steps for me to troubleshoot the spindle error ?What parameters in Fanuc 18i indicates which part of the spindle error?
    Thank you.

Diagnostics may show you something. If you have the Yellow Fanuc books they give some clues. Most of the 18 manuals can be found by googleing 18i.pdf

Some spindle drives for fanuc will read -- on the LED display even when the other axis are enabled. Even though all the axis amps read 0, "ready". If this is what you are looking at. I am not sure

Yea this is what I m looking for. I need to run the spindle then the " not ready" sign will automatically disappear. Its normal condition to have " not ready". Thanks
