    Mori Seiki SL2 spindle problems

    Hey Folks,

    We have Mori Seiki SL2 1980 with Yasnac 2000G. Randomly the spindle would not start. No alarm codes. Reset does not help. Will start again fine after turning the machine off and then back on.
    Any ideas?

    True, but when it works it rocks. Today we ran about 30 parts*on it. Almost all were within 0.0002" on each dimension. Only one part was 0.0005" off.
