Communications between windows 7 and FADAL

I'm currently working at a shop with 6 Fadals. Until recently we have been programming them exclusively with a mac Centris from 1994 and gibbscam version 4.5. After a bit of work I finally was able to get new cad/cam software, on a new laptop running windows 7, and figured out the whole USB to RS232 cable problem. Its all running fine, however I still haven't found communication DNC software that I am happy with. On our old computer we had a communications program that would open up the Fadal control and allow us to set the machine up to receive the program from the desktop in my office (in addition to deleting old programs, switching between programs, etc). However it seems with all the new software the most I can do is hit send from the laptop, with all the setup needing to be performed on the CNC control. Anyone know of better software out there? I'd really appreciate the help.

Hi, if you haven't tried FadalCNC-DNC software, it might be worth a look. They have a 15 day trial so you can download it and see if it'll do what you want, from fadalcnc.com

    Good luck.
