Setting parameters for RDIF in Okuma LC30 OSP5000L

    Hi!
Is it possible to change the value of RDIF parameter for each axis (XA, ZA, XB, ZB)?
I need to find the problem in ballscrew. In this case I want to manualy change the RDIF value to get the alarm error during the axis moving.
The lathe will work in test mode (withowt detail) until the error appears.

(RDIF it is the difference between the actual position and the calculated position).

RDIF is only a math calcualtion of the RAPA and RCON so it is not adjustable. You can adjust the backlash parameter in the SYSTEM PARAMETER screen in order to determine how much backlash a screw might have. IF your RDIF value is tripping an alarm, it is because your axis is jammed usually or some other mechanical binding in covers, gibbs, etc..

    Best regards,

I know about calculating this parameter. I need to make border in -range and +range. For example, the preset value is 16842/2 mkm. If the range of RDIF is more then this value - the 100 error appears. I want to decrease the range - make the drive more sensitive.

I'm curious why. Is this something you can use torque limit or torque skip for? Drive sensitivity is not really changed, only distance travelled before fault.

    Best regards,

Yes, I need to change the distance to fault. Now it as 8 mm, I need to decrease it till 1 mm.

Why not just use DROOP control then, that will "tighten" up the axis more than Rdif.
