B/C head for 5 axis machine

I'm selling my heavily modified Doughty's B/C head (previous version), all done to significantly improve its rigidity and be able to attach powerful (heavier) HSD spindle.

    What has been done:
    - completely "framed" with aluminium parts (custom made)
    - replaced original C-axis grooved bearing system with axial/radial "rotary table" bearing (FAG)
    - replaced standard steppers with 3-phase hybrid steppers system (closed loop system - leadshine) with compatible drivers
    - reinforced B-axis with additional crossed roller bearing on the front side (FAG)

All this modifications did gain weight to about 25kg (without spindle) but that is the cost of rigidity and be able to work more precise and with higher speeds. Due to Doughty's solution it has no backlash caused by gearing.

I'm selling it without HSD spindle shown on pics!

Here is original Doughty's B/C head:

    And after modifications:
    Attachment 221116

    Attachment 221118

Here is a short video of a (slow) test mill running heavy 5axis code on linuxcnc:

If you are interested PM me, for now I'm ready to ship it inside EU, if there is an interest overseas PM me, I'll see what I can do...
