Experianced this? Z axis sensor NOT working when.. located at outmost X axis area?

Z axis sensor NOT working when... located at outmost X axis area?...

    An how come?

It wouold be logical to gues that the wire connected to the Z axis sensor is broken at a spesiffic point, so that it the z sensor looses contact when the spindel has crossed a certain point in the X axis. (All the wires from the spindel and the Z axis stepper are deformed/bended when the "spindel and the Z axis stepper" travel along the x axis)

    but:

When I run it to the top of the Z axis manually, the sensor WORKS at any X-Y location.

The Z axis "Stop-sensor" doesn't seam to work when i hit the button called "Home" on my controller/contoll-card.

When I hit this "Home button" The machine is supposed to go to home on every axis and be stopped only when incountering the stopp sensor.

What happens when I hit home is:

It runns to the top of the z axis (physical z-0 or, Z origin)
but then, rather then continuing homing the other axis, x and y, it ignores the sensor, and the z stepper is jus screaming and houling, trying to pull the spindel further in z > 0 direction.

    Have anyone experianced this?

Ok, I did some practical testing of the cables, and the random "working/notworking-reaoults" i get confirmes that it must be one of the wires thet are broken.

This is the machene: CNC Router (6090) - CNC Router (6090) Exporter

    My question now is:

Is it the wire from the sensor, or the wire to the stepper (im thinking maby the stepper does not get a certain stopp signal due to a broken wire...??)

Does your machine not have a hard stop safety feature?
