Hello,
is this a 23RIII with the Yasnac I80 or the J300? Do you happen to know the software/ladder version? It could be a few problems, leaning towards a software issue. Let me know and I will see if I can help,
John
it is the j300. not sure on the software/ ladder version. is there a way to find out since the machine wont boot? the machine is from arouns 2000
It might be on your parameter sheets if you have them. If not its not a big deal. If you can, when you turn on the control power take a look at the control-card rack in the cabinet and let me know what LED's light on the JCP01 during the boot sequence / restart.
John
it just booted but instead of looping it came up with a system error
there are 4 led's on that board. the they are blinking in a sequence. it goes 3,4 4,4 4,4 4,4 then starts again
Once it comes up with a system error, can you do anything else? Can you get to the system screen to check out the ladder/parameters etc. Did you leave this machine sitting for a while?
John
the machine has sat for like 3 weeks waiting for repairman. i cant seem to get the screen to go away. cant go anywhere
Can you tell me what led up to this problem. Was it working correctly previously? Did you have a power outage/spike?
everything was working fine. no outages or spikes that i know of. for a few weeks the bootlooping problem was almost everyday, but you could shut it off and try again and after 3 to 5 trys it would boot normaly and run fine. until eventually it wouldnt start.
On the JCP01 board there is a rotary Dial. Norma operation is at "0", but try switching to each station and starting the machine. See if you can get to the other sides of the software. One is for editing, one is for reloading and IN/OUT operations, etc. See if these are still active and able to be seen and scrolled around in.
john
tried changing the dial. its back to looping on the boot screen. wont do anything else.
