Have been using LaserCut to create score lines and engravings on glass bottles using the rotary tool.
I draw lines and then extend them to the boundaries of the Y axis in LaserCut 5.3.
As soon as this is done the origin moves by itself to near the center of the table and cannot be moved away.
Took me forever to figure this out but you just have to stay away from the edges even if they are within the table boundary set in setting! What a PAIN!!!!!!!!
Now, it is easy to move the origin to any spot using the (Laser/Set Laser Orgin) and it now moves while I am entering it OR I can place it manually by clicking on the screen......I could not do this before.

I can now switch from immediate cutting mode to coordinate cut and the machine doesn't do unexpected things.

I believe that a few other problems that have cropped up might be related to this 'edge interference' I will check and report back.

Is there a forum for odd bugs such as this?
