Hello,

Need to change IP address for FTP...can't write change becuase of write protect parameter. For the life of me I can't remember where to turn that off. I have done it before. Should have documented it.

Setting 61 input i believe. Been a while since ive been on a mapps1/2

I pressed "Offset" hard key -> "Params" -> 61 -. changed from 0 to 1. Tried changing the IP address. Sill get the write-protect message.

Its the first parameter on the top. Called Enable write ore something like that. Be sure you are in mdi mode.

Parameter 61 is for new fanuc i think!!

So,

Offset, settings, parameters write=1

Miller-Mapps control...
Smecher- change Mapps parameter lock. Same screen, make sure your in MDI. Not in offset-setting page like a standard fanuc. 61 is not the parameter, its the mapps screen. Says system parameter lock/unlock and Mapps parameter lock/unlock.

After fumbling though the menus I found the setting:

"Settings" hard key -> 50 for "Settings" -> "NC Parameter Write" change from 0 to 1.
