    Need help on z height

    Need help on setting up the height of z axis when moving towards to cut other piece. The height from work piece and the tool when moving to another position.

    I own a techno cnc router hd series with wiehong nk 105 g2 controller.

    MR. Abid,
    I use Mastercam X5 at the school I work at. I've found sometimes I have to re set the Z at the point where it will begin the cut.
    I stop the program, reset the Z to Zero and restart that program.
    I have a CNC that is simple only 2.5 axis.... I do this all the time.

    Forgot to say that I drop the tool to touch the top if the part.
