    Engraving??????

    I amhaving no luck getting MCX4 to generate a toolpath for engraving. I keep getting "open chains are ignored" I have selected my geometery with window,chain,line , surface , and partial chain geometery to no avail. My geometery is numbers that were created with the letters option in MasterCAM :drowning: Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    You cannot use engraving on a open chain(letters) See this post it may help : http://www.cnczone.com/forums/master...pen-chain.html

    I made video 003 - 006 a few years ago. it should explain all about engraving!
