Hi Folks,
I'm wanting to try some 30 degree carbide engraving bits. I'm wanting to use them with wood (birch ply), I've read people saying to only use these for extremely shallow DOC's, 0.001 inches/0.25mm's (I'm guessing because of the thinner tip than a v bit), but does this apply to using them with wood too?
Would it break/wear out quickly if I cut say 4 times that depth down?
Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated,
Mark.
