wonder what the limitations of the machine and how its compared to equilivat of its class..
what sort of things we need to look for? or ask if we buy the machine?
is 12000 rpm ok for ali on that machine?

Unlike a simple VF-2 or something, there are not thousands of UMC-750s in the field. The actual odds of finding a user here are slim. Be patient and someone may show.

We got our UMC-750 installed 2 weeks ago. Its the first 5-axis machine i run, so i have little to compare with. My impression is that its pretty ridgid and a very nice machine.

Yes i think it does the work well. I've tried 3+2 and full 5axis milling and it works. Haven't tried highspeed yet.
The post processor we got from our swedish reseller still need some work to function good though. It put out some strange codes sometimes.

Cool, I have heared that Haas are a bit light from one of our supplieers in New zealand..but i am not sure what that means..
and I heared that they need alot of maintenance after 5 years of full work..not sure if that is true to the UMC-750 ..

Hi, we will be receiving our new HAAS UMC-750 on Thursday and be installed on Friday, cant wait.
We also work with GibbsCAM and find it a really awesome package, I myself started with Gibbs in 2009 and have never looked back to any other Cam packages.

The HAAS is light and cheap.
Few machines in the class ...
The competition is much more expensive, but heavier.

And, a normal VMC is much more rigid.
But you knew that, right ?

All the Haas machines I know of/knew of (about 700+), work fine in all materials over the years.
If the customer expectations are reasonable, so are the results.
    Avg customer satisfaction is 9+/10.

A 5 axis haas is not the right choice for removing massive amounts of material quickly- but you probably knew that ?
For much more money, you get faster material removal.
You need to decide if it matters, in your use.

I failed to find post processor for other CAM software out there, so tend to try GibbsCAM. Anyone could help me with Haas UMC-750 post processor for GibbsCAM ?

and why not? IF its Ridgid enough and use performance cutters and Volumill Syle cuts, then I dont see why it would not cut fast...
    a 5 axis can behave like a 3 axis except got 2 more axis..right?
