I`m looking at getting a new sv-2414s with the 10,000 RPM spindle , will I don`t do 3D work were I run wide open for hours , I do a lot of alum jobs were I run 7,500 RPM for 10 to 20 min at a time. and I do see changing that over to be 10 to 20 min at 10K the spindle chillers run about $3k and I don`t real know if I need it or not seeing how I don`t ever see running for hours at wide open.

Get it. It will pay back in spindle life alone. 20 minutes , 5 to re load, then another 20 adds up.

I have no problem running without chiller.

My machine has no spindle chiller, it's been 4 years now.

But I just run small batch , so I never run the spindle continously for a long time ( 60 minutes max )

Overall this machine is good
