    Fanuc OT parameter problem (EMCO 320 Lathe)

    The lathe seems to be cutting radius and not diameter.
    i.e when drilling a hole the X value on the monitor is not displaying zero, its displaying an absolute value of X43.435. This figure is half the X reference position which is 86.870, this is the value of parameter 708. Currently I'm having to put a value of X43.435 into a program to drill a hole.
    Also any adjustments in the X wear offset is half. i.e if I'm reducing the diameter by 0.1mm I'm entering 0.05mm into the wear offset..

    Any help on the adjusting the correct parameter/diagnostic would be great.

    Thanks

    Parameter 0001#4 set to 1 for offset values in diameter, 0028#5 set to 0 for workpiece coordinate system shift amount in diameter, 0019#2 set to 0 for X-axis read in diameter.

    at the moment these are my parameter settings
    0001=00011000
    0019=11000100
    0028=00010101

    no sucess yet

    As I said, parameter 19 bit 2 to 0 for X-axis read in diameter. Right now you have it set to 1 for radius.

    Cheers.
