Just ran the first job on a 1996 Torq cut 22 converted to Centroid control. Love the control! All the panels and covers and guards are still off including the head/transmission/tool clamp.
With this exposed the noise at 5000 rpm is impressive. It's a hi torque 6000 rpm machine. I was also able to reach up and notice the transmission temperature after ten minutes or so, and I'm curious about what to expect in terms of heat and noise and what else I should be looking for. The machine supposedly sat for years before we picked it up. have not found any fluid change/flush procedures for transmission yet. Any recommendations are much appreciated.
