    Haas ST40L w/ live tooling

    Has anyone been running a Haas ST40L with live tooling? Can anyone suggest the best cam software to use with the machine?

    We have the ST30y with live tooling. I use Gibbs and Solidworks. Gibbs works great posting out programs for the HAAS.

    Give FeatureCam a try. You can download the software and use it for free.
    You can just not save a file or post any code.
    It is very easy to use the live tooling with this software.
    Oh, and Autodesk has just acquired FeatureCam, so there may be some great improvements in the near future.
