New install of XP on dedicated PC to use for CNC router in near future. Installed Mach3
and restarted. attempts to start Mach3 all fail. I get an error msg that “NVidia opengl
driver” error. “driver components mis-match. Exit is the only option”. Video card is
Nvidia GeForce fx 5200. PC is M848A motherboard with modest AMD 2 ghz CPU. No
other applications loaded. Tried the special driver and optimize...no change. This is the
most simplistic windows install I know of to avoid problems. Motherboard does not have
video capabilities, so video card must be utilized. Any help greatly appreciated...stuck for now.

Post multiple video driver download/installs, I have found one on the Nvidia website that does
allow Mach3 to startup. Driver was not for my card, but video does appear to be functional??
I did migrate Mach3 back to original driver. Thanks Gerry for suggestion. Getting closer,
now have all electrical/software items ready to go, will be working up order for 80/20inc material
to build router framework with. Rather than purchase foreign linear hardware, will try to
locate American made hardware for all bearings/ballscrews. Would rather pay more and
keep money and jobs in USA.
