How to limit dust build-up on rails?

I am having problems with dust accumulating on the rails. I am using the standard trucks on 1/4" thick cold-rolled steel. Dust, especially when cutting MDF, seems to collect on the rails eventually causing some missed steps. It really builds up on the horizontal rails the gantry rides on.

Has anyone affixed brushes to the trucks? If so, how and where? What do you do to keep the rails clean?

    Looking for ideas...

    Thanks!

    What about better dust collection?
My machine has skate bearings on pipe, and I don't get any MDF dust on the pipe. The brush around my dust shoe contains almost everything.

Certain operstions, though, will allow chips to escape. I have seen machines with brushes here, but don't have a link. Industrial machines with similar motion systems use scrapers, typically made of flexible brass sheet that scrapes the rails clean ahead of the bearings.

email cncrouterparts they sell a rail brush that bolts to the gantry risers, not sure if you have that on your machine or not, but you could probably adapt it easily.
I don;t see it on their site, but I'm sure they would sell it separately.
