Is it possible to build a DIY Metal Sintering machine?

Im sure it is possible for some, but what about your average cnc enthusiast? has anyone built a diy one before? Also how much do the commercial ones cost?

are there even commercial programs available to us that would operate a metal sintering machine?

Sure it is possible. The scale of the machine may limit its usefulness but it is a machine no more different than a router or milling machine. As to Average what does that really mean?

Nope and nope. As for cost search the net.

You would be on your own. Further presses require a bit of thought when it comes to user safety. Again not impossible for a DIY machine.
