We have CNC boaring machine with spindle drive Simodrive 6RA2732-6DV57-0, drive is running fine with normal power from local electricity board(MSEB), but when we are running the machine on Generator power drive stop running and showing alarm 'F26'. i notice that ther is lot of power fluctuation in generator power. our entire factory is running on same generator including other CNC machine. generator capacity is 250KVA

can anyone give me some suggestion so i can run the spindle drive on same generator.

Have you already installed a smoothing coil?. If this don't work, I would try to install a very simple VFD, that runs only a 50 or 60Hz I don't know whats regular at India. It should be much better than a generator who delivers whether a constant frequency nor voltage.
