It's software, in what way should or might I feel unsafe using it?
Whether I work on my own and with what is entirely unrelated to software, what academic institution is responsible for this?
It all seems a little wierd, you haven't even asked what software the user has and you haven't stated the aims of your survey,

- The user interface may not be clear enough and lead to mistake, for example if two icons with different purpose looks the same. Therefore a level of perceived "non safety" can be detected and has been already done by other activities of this research.

- The fact that you feel confident to work on your own is related to the above level of safety perceived.

- I am responsible for this, not the academic institution.

- I don't need to know the name of the software and the aim of my survey is to collect data through the questions listed

Hey I am keen to tack onto this survey but am more interested in what to buy. I have been using Cambam for 5 months now and am close to buying it. It seems ok for a home user but is there anyone out there who says they are using something better? I have a CNC router, using Mach 3.
